Privacy Policy
How we handle the information your business shares with us.
Last updated October 2026
This policy explains what information Prestige Advance collects when you apply for business funding or use our merchant portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is a starting document for your business: please have it reviewed by your own legal counsel before publishing.
1. Information we collect
When you apply for funding, contact us, or use your merchant portal, we collect the information you provide directly to us. This includes business details (legal name, trading name, address, entity type and industry), financial information (revenue, obligations, requested amount and purpose), ownership information, contact details, and the documents you upload.
2. How we use it
We use your information to assess your application, communicate with you about it, prepare any offer or agreement, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and maintain accurate records of the funding relationship.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your information to advertise third-party products to you.
3. Documents and storage
Documents you upload — including bank statements, identification and bank verification documents — are stored privately. They are not publicly accessible.
- Access is limited to your account and the Prestige Advance employees working on your file.
- Documents are retained for as long as necessary to administer your application and to meet record-keeping requirements.
- Download links for stored documents are generated on request and expire.
4. Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform — for example, secure file storage, email delivery and electronic signature providers — strictly as required to deliver the service. Where we use an e-signature provider, the details necessary to send an agreement for signature are shared with that provider.
We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Security
Access to the platform requires authentication, and internal access is role-based: staff see only the records their role permits, and read-only users cannot change records. Every material action on an application — status changes, document reviews, offers, contracts and funding confirmation — is recorded in an audit log.
6. Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to retain. Email hello@prestigeadvance.example and we will respond.
